Quick generic Asian vegetables

Chopped green vegetables of some sort (snow peas, broccoli, or green beans work great)
sesame oil
red pepper flakes
garlic
grated fresh ginger (optional)
soy sauce

Heat sesame oil in a skillet or wok and add garlic (and ginger if you have it).  DON'T OVERCOOK THE GARLIC...if it starts to brown the flavor is destroyed.  Add vegetables and sauté until they turn bright green or reach desired consistency (if you prefer olive drab and mushy I'll personally administer beatings until you learn better).  Add red pepper flakes and a smidgen of soy sauce.
